The Basic Run Down

As a child i was always fascinated with video games, i still remember the Christmas over 15 years ago when i ripped open a large square parcel with big red and white branding on it marking the box as “Nintendo Entertainment System”, that was a fantastic day!

In my time i think i have jumped more than my fair share of Goombah’s, and shot more than a few pixelated ducks, I’ve hit the shambler with the lighting gun, and called in one to many fateful off map artillery strikes.

All of those times were, and still are immensely enjoyable. Video games brought me, my dad, and friends, together for something that not only was fun, but was high tech and “cool”.
Further down the track my love of video games never wained or diminished, it was strengthened by the fact that not only did i love playing them, but i damn well wanted to start making some.
So, I’m here, 3 1/2 years later, after learning 3D Studio Max, trying to cut my way into games industry as an artist. It’s no easy task trying to get into the industry, maybe i just haven’t progressed far enough. Who knows… all i know is, persistence will pay off.

Take it easy guys, check out the art section if you like.
